Adoption FAQs

They are mostly rescued by our team, abandoned or orphan.

We operate from 2 pm to 5 pm (Monday–Saturday). You can visit our facility within that time, or take a prior appointment through an e-mail (pd@jivdayatrust.org) for Sundays.

We use an interview process to ensure that each animal adopted will be matched with a compatible new owner. After approval from our manager, you need to fill up an adoption form.

Plan to allow one to two hours to complete the adoption process. It may take longer depending on how many pets you wish to meet.

Sorry, we do not keep any pet on hold.

Both you and your new pet will need time to get better acquainted and adjust. Some pets transition quickly, others may need more time and help. If it does not work out after several tries, consult with the concerned person at Jivdaya.

It takes time for the pet to adjust in a new environment. If the pet gets sick, you can bring it to the center for a check-up. Jivdaya does not charge any fees for treatment.

ADOPTION AT JIVDAYA IS ABSOLUTELY FREE! Our only motive is to help poor animals find a permanent home and a loving family.
